About Custom Orders
You have a vision. We have the skills to make it real.
At Zice City, custom work isn’t an afterthought — it’s the heart of what we do. Whether you’re redesigning an heirloom, building something from scratch, or chasing an idea you’ve never seen done quite right, this is where we start.
How It Works
We don’t hand you a catalog and call it collaboration. Every custom piece moves through a deliberate two-phase design process built to protect your vision and your investment.
Phase 1 — Concept Visuals
It starts with your information form. Once submitted, we review your materials and send you a link to schedule a call — a conversation that gives us a better grasp of your vision for the custom piece. From there, we open with initial concept visuals to lock in the direction, style, and design language of your piece. These may come in the form of hand sketches, digital illustrations, or curated reference imagery — whatever best captures the idea. Up to three concept revisions are included. This isn’t the final blueprint — it’s the conversation. The goal is to get the idea right before we build anything.
Phase 2 — CAD Design & Rendering
Once your concept is approved, we move into a full 3D CAD model with photorealistic renders. This is where the piece comes to life on screen before it ever touches metal. Up to two CAD revisions are included. What you see at this stage is very close to what you’ll hold in your hands.
The Design Fee
A non-refundable $100 design fee is required to begin. It covers concept development and design consultation. Final pricing for the piece is determined once the CAD phase is complete — after dimensions, materials, and production requirements are finalized.
Production
After final design approval and full payment, we get to work. Typical production time is 3–4 weeks, though complexity and material availability can shift that window.
One more thing: Paying the design fee means you’re in. It authorizes us to begin and confirms your agreement to the terms above.
